Out of my slump...

The last couple weeks I have been in a terrible slump. I have had no energy or motivation to get done all that needs done around the homestead. Today, I just feel different. I feel ready to tackle the day and ready to get some things done. I don't know if my body has been fighting off the flu, (which is going around like crazy and I do have the sinus congestion)or if I've just been lazy. Either way, I feel better today and ready for the day. My to do list is ready and waiting for me. So, I don't want to waste alot of time on here right now. I do have some things on my heart that I want to blog about, but they can wait until I get some stuff done around my home. Have a blessed day and know that if you are in a slump, you aren't alone. I believe we all have them on occasion. Just do your best while you are in it, pray for God to help you out of it and don't let it consume you. It won't last forever.
Blessings,
Rashel

  1. Yes, I actually feel productive today. If you looked at what I have actually accomplished today, it might not actually look like alot but that isn't what matters. My attitude is better today and that is showing in the attitudes of my children as well. We worked alongside each other today and got the kitchen cleaned up. We are taking a break at the moment and then going to clean their bedroom.

  2. Another update, worked in kids room for about 40 minutes. We got rid of 8 walmart bags of clothes and shoes (oh I went through my clothes too). We will work in their room again tomorrow. Time to get ready for daddy to come home.
    Have a blessed evening,

  3. Sounds like you're doing the same thing we are! I'm not "flying" right now, but I had been in such a slump...The last two weeks I've gotten a lot done (for me!) and even though I'm nowhere near where I need to be, it's SO much better than it was! So de-stressing to get rid of stuff! :) Wish there was a like button on blogs, I "liked" a lot of your blogs! LOL :D ♥Twylia
