I'm Ready

I'm ready to start blogging again.

I'm ready, but things will be different. First, we still have only our kindle and phones for getting online. So, my posts will likely be shorter and for now, void of many pictures.

Second, I plan to be completely real with you all. I'm done worrying about my grammar and punctuation. (I mean is that why you read blogs anyway, to correct their grammar?) I'm done trying to figure out what might be the most popular subject or avoiding the controversial ones. I'll just write what's on my heart.

I commit to being myself on my blog. I'll be honest and open. I won't sugar coat the bad days, we all have them. I'll also share my good days and my mediocre days. Life is all of them mixed together. It's a beautiful mess.

I want to share with you how I live in grace every day. Every. Single. Day. I mess up, I mess up a lot. But God loves me anyway and He showers me with grace.

Third, I really, really want you to share with me. I LOVE your comments. They encourage me and let me know that I am not alone. The help me to realize that God can use me to encourage others. You are why I do this. The comments I've received since I haven't even been posting are what made me want to continue this blog. Thank you!

Thank you for reading. Thank you for stopping by. Thank you for sharing part of your day with me!

Blessings my friends,
Rashel

  3. I just saw that you were back to blogging. I am not one to comment much on the blogs that I read. I mostly read the posts and move on to the next blog. I so enjoyed reading your blog. You always came across as real, the good, the bad, the pretty and the ugly. Some blogs are filled with just the good and pretty stuff. Most of us know that in their real lives there is bad and ugly too but, some people thing that these bloggers live in a perfect world where everything is wine and roses. Reading blogs like that makes some feel that they are doing something wrong. They have the perfect home that is totally spotless and cook the perfect meals without making any mess at all. At least that is what their pictures show. When in reality just off of the camera shot is the pile of toys and last nights newspaper and a coffee cup that she moves to get the perfect photo. That pretty picture of the dinner plate with all that yummy food, well it took her 20 minutes to fill that plate with just the right piece of meat. She cut off that burnt spot and covered it with more sauce and perfectly arranged those greenbeans. Now her family has to eat luke warm food. Oh well enough ranting. I like real and you are real. So glad you are back. Oh and please pay no attention to my misspelling and poor grammer. LOL Pray you have a blessed day. Teresa

  4. Thank you so much Teresa! I'm so blessed by your words, they show me that my blog is what I want it to be, real. I too have seen those "perfect" blogs and I myself have been discouraged by them instead of lifted up, because I fell into the comparison trap. I can't thank you enough for taking the time to comment and encourage me in this way. I pray you have a blessed Christmas.
