Trim Healthy Mama

Well, I did it. I finally bit the bullet and ordered "Trim Healthy Mama" by Pearl Barrett and Serene Allison.

picture from the Trim Healthy Mama website.

I did order it through Amazon because it was the best price I found and I could get free 2 day shipping, oh yeah!! I am not very patient so 2 day shipping is awesome for me and FREE is even better!!

I have been copying lots of recipes from the internet that follow the THM plan and I have also started a notebook. I got the idea from here

Thank you Stacy for all the great divider pages, recipes and links. Please go visit her at Stacy Make Cents and check it out.

From what I have read so far it seems to follow principles similar to proper food combining, but there are some extra things in there too. I am excited to start this journey as I REALLY want to shed these extra 10lbs or so and I want to get my energy back. I know how well food combining works, so I have no doubt the THM plan will work as well.

Blessings,
Rashel

    1. Marcy, I did buy some of the products that THM recommends such as stevia, xylitol, xantham gum, whey protein powder, and the flours. Some of the products I use quite a bit and some I don't. I wouldn't buy the xantham gum, protein powder or yeast flakes again, I just don't use them much. I know some of the products are personal preference as to how much of a purist you are or not. I like to do whole foods and natural things, but I'm far from a purist. I just did the best I could. I experienced good results with THM. I will try to do a progress post soon - thank you for the reminder to do that.
      Blessings to you.
