Winter Skirt Challenge & Giveaway

I love to see pictures of how other women dress in skirts during the cold winter months, actually in any weather. I just love pictures! I have seen other blogs do challenges to post pictures for a week of wearing skirts, but most are in warm weather. It's easier for me to find cute summer skirts but not so much for cold weather. So, starting Monday, I will be hosting a challenge open to all ladies. The challenge is to wear modest skirts/dresses only for a week and to post a picture each day on your blog so we can all see how you dress modestly in cool/cold weather. If you would like to accept the challenge, please leave a comment with a link to your blog so we can all follow along. At the end of the week I will giveaway the book "101 Ways to Be a Great Mom"* to one of the participants. To earn a chance to win, just leave me a link saying you are accepting the challenge and then post a picture each day Monday14th through Friday 18th. I will put all the names in a hat and randomly choose a winner. For an extra entry, post this challenge on your blog with a link back to this post and tell me you did so.

Blessings,
Rashel

*This book is like new condition, not brand new. It has a place on the front cover from a price sticker but other than that is in excellent condition.

  1. That sounds fun! I remember when we were both back on homesteadblogger you did a week in skirts. I'll participate..I think it will help me get out of my daily frumpy state, especially if I'm going to be posting pictures of myself!

  2. Sara, you have a good memory :) I'm hoping the same thing and that's another reason I wanted to do it too. I seem to fix my hair the same way every day (read ponytail) and jean skirts nearly everyday. I'm ready for a little changing it up!

So glad you are joining in!

  3. Oh goodness. Here in northern Montana we've had a long winter. I think for now, I will wear skirts with warm tights only on Sundays, mainly because the skirts don't look good with the hiking boots I wear to crunch through the snow! Blessings from Denise

  4. When things are cold, I wear knee-high wool socks and synthetic or wool long johns under my long cotton or wool knit skirts. I layer up on top, too, and stay very cozy. Often I am warmer than others around in trousers!
