Thursday Tea Talk with Ruth

I decided to join in the Thursday Tea Talk with Ruth. This is my first "tea talk" so I'm excited to participate.

1. I'm having... decaf coffee with Truvia and a bit of cream. My mug is one I got on one of our family vacations. Sometimes my husband has to travel to Tennessee on business and we get to go with him. On this particular trip, we left early and spent some time in Arkansas on our way there. We stopped for one night at a beautiful lodge on top of Mount Magazine. The children played for hours in the indoor pool, then we went to the nature center and finally on a trail hike to the highest point on the mountain. I love this mug because it reminds me of the wonderful time we had.

2. I'm feeling...blessed! This week God has just been revealing to me all the blessings He has given me and I am truly blessed.

3. On my mind...all of the things I need to get done today, including making a trip to town for the library and raw milk.

4. A verse to share..
Proverbs 31:26 "She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue."

I need this to remember that kindess and wisdom are to be on my tongue when I open my mouth.

  1. Very profound words dear sista. I am so glad to meet up with you at Ruth's great tea place. I have had my journey through motherhood and into grandmotherhood for a few years now. My journey is along the last few miles toward heaven. I have done my best along the way and yes all the wonderful woman I have met in cyberspace had held my hand. Blessings

  3. Hi, Rashel, I'm Christine visiting you via Ruth's Tea Talk. Nice to "meet" you! Your coffee mug has really pretty colors--they match your blog design nicely. :)

I like the names you gave your children (in your sidebar). You did a good job "naming" them!

    Blessings to you today,
    Christine
