Good deals at Goodwill

While in town grocery shopping yesterday, the two littles and I stopped in Goodwill. I found two skirts, two shirts, one sweater shawl, an Easter shirt for ds3 and a skirt for dd. Dd's skirt was in the wash when I took the picture. I got all this for under $21!

  1. Looks like some great deals.

The Paths of Exploration...we are still using it, though I did bump children into Christian Light light units for main math and language arts (the littles)
We are putzy...and are are only now working on the last of Daniel Boone, moving more to the Revolutionary War before we hit Lewis&Clark. I plan to order Paths of Settlement too.

If you have a good library source, I can suggest *not* worrying about the full curriculum package (although I LOVE the Handbook of Nature Study, and many of the other full resource goodies...) but the reading books are not necessary to the overall flow of the curriculum and you can very easily swap other books in and out. Me, I'm wasteful with monies when books are involved and I bought the whole kit-n-kaboodle......

    Just a heads up :)

  3. Rashel, do you enjoy a good love story? We're posting a true story on our blog and we think people may really enjoy it. It's the story of 2 Christian kids that fell in love. We've posted 5 parts so far and below is the link to part 1. Check it out and let us know what you think:
