What do you want?

I want to hear from you!

I want my blog to be a place you can come to for encouragement, motivation or just to read and relax for a bit -

but I don't want it to be just about me and what I am doing.

Although, that is a big part of this blog because I believe sharing my journey does encourage some of you.

In order to best serve you, I want to know what you want to read.

What interests you?

Do you want to hear about exercising?

Trim Healthy Mama?

Recipes?

My progress pictures and journey?

Or maybe it is housekeeping and raising my children?

Or something comopletely different?

I'm not an expert in any area, but I love to write and visit with you so I will do my best for you.

I truly want to hear from you, so please leave me a comment below or if it is easier for you, you can leave one on my facebook page:

Looking forward to hearing from all of you.

Blessings and have a fabulous day!

Much to do today

I have so much that I would like to accomplish today. I know that it isn't possible to get it all done today, but I am going to work hard to get done what I can (without running myself ragged in the process).  Hubby is working today which allows me some time to work on my list. I don't really like doing chores when he is home. I'd much rather spend my time with him.  Here is my list:

1. Cook for our Sunday School Class party tonight -deviled eggs done, chocolate custard done
2. Laundry - wash, dry and put it all away -still washing, some put away
3. Clean the shower -all done, also cleaned the washer/dryer, toilet and bathroom sink
4. Declutter my bedroom-office area
5. Work on school plans for next week
6. Pay some bills for a group I am treasurer of -took care of it

Those are the things I really need to get done today, if possible. Then there are things I want to do, like start my denim rag quilt or read. :)

What are your plans for the day?

Blessings,
Rashel
*updating as I go along today, just to keep myself motivated and see my progress :)

Guilt is a horrible thing

Do you ever have a day that you have extra time you weren't expecting to have and you seriously don't know what to do with it? I'm having one of those days today. We got up and around this morning and got the house picked up, swept and dishes done. My two oldest sons are at my Dad's helping cut/stack wood and dh is at work, so it is just me and my two littles. I was supposed to scrapbook with a friend today, but she backed out. So, now I have a few hours before I have to be anywhere and can't decide what I should do. I have plenty I could clean, declutter or organize. I have laundry I could fold and put away or I have two books borrowed from a friend that I could read. I could just scrapbook by myself. My two littles are watching a movie, I already sat and watched one with them, then I made some pudding and now I am online (obviously). Now, the dilemma of what to do next. Do you know what I really WANT to do? Take a nap. Yep, I would love to just curl up and take a little nap, but the guilt is starting to creep in and remind me of all the productive things I could be doing. Oh, how I hate that little voice that makes me feel guilty when I want to have just a little time to indulge myself. I'm not sure which I'll do, but I'll be sure to come back and let you know.  What would you do?

A question for all my readers..

While I know that we all have different circumstances, family size and obligations; I do have a question for all of you, simply because I'm curious.  What time do you rise each day?

Then, if you wouldn't mind, what does your morning routine look like? Again, I'm just curious as to how some of you do things.

Since I asked you, I will share mine :)  Normally I rise around 6:15-6:30. My routine is different depending which day it is. M-W-F I have been jogging, so I will rise, get dressed, eat a little something, if I have time will read a little scripture and then head out for my jog by 7:00. I get done by 7:30, wake up the family and get some Bible study in. I start laundry and get breakfast going.  On T-Th-S, it is a little more relaxed for me. I still get up but get to have a longer Bible study and a little more quiet time. I will then wake the family up around 7:30 and the day is the same as other days.  That is how my normal mornings go, how about you?

Blessings,
Rashel
