Here is a recap of my week in modest dress.
Thank you for letting me share with you this past week, it has been fun.
Here are some new tights I bought at Wal Mart this week, they are really warm.
Here is an around the house outfit. We were in the process of making monkey bread for my son's birthday party, he requests that instead of cake every year.
It was really yummy!
Just plain old garage sale find tennis shoes around the house.
Okay, I know this next one is bad quality, please forgive me for that.
This is the only shot I have of me at the birthday party. I wore a crocheted headband I made, a turtleneck with 3/4 length sleeve over it and my skirt is long, brown and from Cato.
Here are a few recaps from earlier in the week.
Thank you for all the sweet comments this past week and for following along during my week of modest dress in pictures. There were a few days I didn't get pictures taken but I know you understand.
I may try to do it again soon.
Blessings,
Rashel
I love the modest look.......and my girls and I also aim to dress modestly......it requires work in a world that elevates immodesty. Thank you for the post. :) gentlejoyhomemaker.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteThank you for commenting and for your compliment! Yes, it does require more effort doesn't it, but it is so worth it.

Lovely! I love your out fits.
ReplyDeleteThank you Chelle!
DeleteI love your outfits. Any idea where you got that gorgeous jean skirt from?
ReplyDeleteThank you! I got it at a garage sale, sorry. However the brand is Style & Co. if that helps.

I enjoyed seeing all the long skirts. I have trouble finding them, esp. made out of warm material. I am definitely checking out Walmart for the tights.

Linda, I find most of mine at garage sales, Goodwill and occasionally I will go to Cato. I also have several jean skirts I have made from an old pair of jeans. I do like those tights, they are very warm! Thank you for visiting!
