Reorganizing my kitchen cabinets

I've been wanting to reorganize my kitchen cabinets for awhile but just haven't had the time, well today I finally did! My biggest motivation for doing this was because my children put up the clean/dry dishes and couldn't reach the cabinets for some of them (therefore I was always helping do their chore). A long time ago I had all the plates and bowls in my bottom cabinets so it would be easy for them to reach to set the table and put away, but I guess at some point I decided they were big enough I could move them back to the top cabinets. I was wrong! I ended up reorganizing half of my kitchen cabinets and I think I like it this way much better, I seem to have more room. I thought I would share some pictures with you, because I always love to see others pictures of their homes.

Here is my messy tupperware cabinet before:
Then here is after I moved my tupperware to another cabinet.

Here is the cabinet the held my tupperware before and now holds an assortment of things.

All of my canned goods were in the barnwood cabinet that now houses the tupperware, they moved to a new home. Both of these cabinets held my dishes and an odd assortment of things before but I like the looks of them better now.

Here is the bottom cabinet that now houses my dishes for easy access by my children. It also houses my electric skillet which is too large for any other cabinet! The things in the back on the bottom are rarely used items.
This is a picture of one of my favorite things in my kitchen, the shelves my husband built for me. It holds a huge amount and I love having all my jars easily accessed. You can see all the jars with all my mixes labeled and ready for use. There is another shelf on the bottom that didn't get in the picture, it holds another crockpot, some juice and a big bowl. I had my crockpots on the very tops of my cabinets but I've been using them both alot lately and decided I needed them down where they are easier to reach.

Well, there you have it. A view into my kitchen. I reorganized two other cabinets but they weren't all that exciting to look at so I didn't take pictures. Ok, not that any of them are exciting but these show more of the change. Hope you enjoyed the pictures.

Blessings,
Rashel
