I think God is trying to show me that I had once again become addicted to the internet. Now, don't get me wrong, I wasn't spending all day, everyday on it but I was spending more time than neccessary on it. Monday night I lost my internet, hopefully just for a few days this time. My computer is still fine, just had to give back the internet link for awhile. I'm at a friend's house now for another purpose, but I am borrowing her internet to check in and check my email and such. I plan to use the next few days internet free working more on my home duties than I have been lately. I think sometimes God uses these times to teach us things. So, I'll check back in when I get my internet or if I don't have it back by Monday, I'll come back to my friends :)
Blessings and have a good rest of the week and weekend,

  1. Sometimes it seems like we don't realize how much we're devoting to something like this until it's temporarily taken away...? Modern technology is a double-edged sword. My philosophy: give your husband a kiss for every keystroke and all will be well...!

  2. I was just introduced to your blog via Crystal Miller's newletter. You are very talented! I wanted to invite you to follow my blog if you would like to!

I am following you now too!

  3. I so feel the same way. My kids will look for me and say, "Yup she's on the computer". I'm addicted lately to saving money with coupons, so I'm on all the time looking for the best deals. I just need to take a step back. Thankyou for your blog, I have made a chore list somewhat like yours. The kids didn't have a regular chore routine and so when I asked them to do something I got whining and complaining. We are starting today. God bless.
