Good Girl Moonshine Variations

I've been working on some new versions of Good Girl Moonshine, a staple on the Trim Healthy Mama plan. I have a few that I really enjoy and thought I would share them with all of you. Of course one of my favorites is Strawberry Limeade GGMS, you can find it here.

Orange GGMS:

2 cups water
2 TBSP raw apple cider vinegar
1/2 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp orange extract
2 doonks THM pure stevia

Blend and serve over ice.

*You can also add  1/2 tsp of banana flavoring to the above and make an orange/banana ggms.

Pina Colada GGMS:

2 cups water
2 TBSP of raw apple cider vinegar
1/2 tsp ginger
1 tsp coconut flavoring
1/2 tsp pineapple flavoring
2 doonks THM pure stevia

Blend and serve over ice. If you like a slushy drink, blend 3-4 ice cubes with the above instead of serving over ice.

I encourage you to experiment and find just the right amounts of flavorings that you like, we all have different tastes. There are so many possibilities! Be sure to get the best quality flavorings/extracts that you can.

Here are some GGMS versions created by other THM'ers.

Caramel Apple GGMS

Amaretto GGMS

Fuzzy Navel GGMS

and

HERE are a few variations on Pinterest.

I'm sure there are tons more versions out there. Do you have a favorite flavor? I would love for you to share it with me!

Blessings,
Rashel

    1. We have some Mennonite stores close and they have tons of flavorings. That is also where I get my flours, xylitol and bulk spices.

  2. Rashel, I haven't been able to connect with your Pinterest. Do you still have that account?
    Thanks, Regina

  3. I tried something similar and I couldn't get the ginger to dissolve. Did yours dissolve? It settles to the bottom and is sort of yucky going down.

  4. I had the same problem, so I use grated fresh ginger instead. Of course it doesn't dissolve, but it stays in larger pieces that sink to the bottom and gives a good flavor. Keep some in the freezer and slice off small bits as needed.

  6. I also found it difficult to dissolve the powdered ginger, so I took a little bit of warm water and stirred the ginger in it until it was dissolved and then put it in my GGMS. What a difference. I could not drink it before because of the ginger.
